I have 2 builds :

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NBxP9W

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wjLHJV

(not going to oc).

The first one, GTX 1080, I7 7700 and an IPS monitor, 1440p, 144hz.

The seconds, GTX 1070, I7 7700 and an IPS monitor, 1440p, 60hz.

The difference is roughly 500$ where I live(gtx 1080 cost 250$ more than 1070, 144hz cost 200$ more than 60hz).

I don't have money for IPS 1440p, 144hz + G sync. It cost nearly 1200$ where I live and it is way out of my reach.

So it is either got with 1440p, 144hz with FreeSync(irrelevant) or go with 60hz and high response time(6ms-8ms).

I started thinking about the Dell S2716DG :

But it is a TN monitor, it has G SYNC, 144hz and 1440p, it cost less than the Asus MG279Q but it is a TN panel.

The thing is, the Dell U2715H has some really good reviews while the MG279Q has good reviews from the critics but bad reviews from the people talking about a big ips glow and dead pixels as a common issues.

I am both a gamer and a designer, not a professional gamer, not a professional designer, just a hobby on both.
I am not playing shooters too much, maybe I will play BF1 for fun. I mainly play MMORPG, single RPG, CS:GO(custom games) and Osu!.

Please help me.

The default freesync range on the MG279Q is 35-90hz. AMD enabled LFC at the driver level some time ago, so long as the max is at least 2x the minimum, then the minimum is effectively 0. My 290X was strong enough to get good frame rates at 1440p. I got the regular Fury for about the same price as an 8gb 480. I also am trying out a CF791 which is 3440x1440 and the Fury is still hanging in there, but I am definitely looking forward to vega now!

I've had an MG279Q since it was introduced over a year ago. I'm very happy with it. It does have a bit of glow, but it's not the end of the world by any means. The contrast is good and the color is spot on.
Going from 60 to 144hz will be a very big upgrade all by itself. I've been using mine with a 290X and just recently got a good deal on the Sapphire Fury Nitro. (and gave the 290X to my girlfriend..) Using freesync is another very noticeable step up, even compair to a raw 144hz refresh rate. The variable rate makes anything north of about 45 fps liquid smooth. That said, depending upon prices in your area, I would strongly consider pairing the MG279Q with either an RX480 or Fury. Strictly speaking, you really wouldn't need to spring for the 8gb card if you go 480 and the cost difference, at least according to prices here, would let you plan an upgrade much sooner, such as after Vega and 1080 Ti hit the market and shake things up. I was really planning on waiting for Vega to upgrade, but as I mentioned, my girlfriend needed a card. Leak of performance wasn't my motivation.

From what I have seen, the RX 480 can't past the 50 mark on 1440p, Wouldn't it be a waste of the screen?
the r9 fury x cost here more then the gtx 1070.
And even when vega comes out, don't you think that it will push the fps above 95 ? If I am not mistaken, the freesync has a range from 40-90 or something like that on this particular screen.
I am so sad that AMD delayed their new high end cards, so far to the q2-q3 of the year. my r9 270x died on me 2 weeks after the warranty went off and now I am stuck with a 7 years old card(hd 5770).
