Repair shop or warranty

So I found out that something is wrong with the monitor to laptop connector because I can't seem to get a response unless I use an external moniter and HDMI. Would it be cheaper to go to and repair shop or get it repaired directly from the manufacturer 3XS? And if I do go to the repair shop, will it void my warranty?

If you go to a repair shop im guessing it will void you warranty and also repair shops cost alot to replace something like that. If i was you id get it repaired from the manufacture
