Xeon e5345 vs Core 2 Quad Q6600

Hello,

I currently have a pc with a Q6600 Processor and recently bought a server with a Xeon e5345 and I am wondering how much they differ in speed as the frequency is almost the same and they both are quad core processors.
The server I bought will be for word processing and internet browsing and it has a GT220 graphics card in it.
So I am wondering how the e5345 and q6600 compare to each other.
So if someone could tell me that it would be nice.

You'd need to run benchmarks to see that the Q6600 is very slightly faster at stock speed. The main advantage of the Xeon is that you may be able to install a second one if the motherboard can support 2 processors.
