Connecting DVI-D to VGA monitor

Can i attach DVI to HDMI connector to my intel hd 530,and then attach HDMI to VGA Converter to it,so i can use vga monitor?

Which outputs do you have on the motherboard (or better yet, which motherboard specifically).

HD530 should still support the analog signal, so you should be able to go DVI to VGA with a simple cable. No need to convert digital to analog etc.
