In Review: Does the HB SLI Bridge improve perfomance GTX 1070 SLI

After reading information online about the HB SLI Bridges I though I would try one and compare it to the regular sli bridges.

I spoke with a senior tech at EVGA, He advised that for my setup I need to be using a HB Bridge.

I hope this can help some of you trying to figure out if you need a HB Bridge for SLI GTX 1070's.

Here are my results.

Unfortunately I am not seeing a noticeable increase from switching bridges.

I really wouldn't bother. For 1070's the gains are tiny. Certainly not worth the price. But of course the guy at EVGA sold you one, it's his job to sell you one.

EVGA didn't sell me one I wanted to get one its a nicer looking bridge anyway. To my knowledge even the 1070 surpasses the original bridge.

It is not the Senior Techs job to sell EVGA's products, The tech has been a friend of my along time and said it would be a good idea to.

Ok, so its not worth it. I guess that was the point of why I posted my results that way people can actually see its not worth it vs you just telling them its not.
