Hey guys,
I have decided to build a gaming PC and thought I should ask you since this forum helped me a lot.
So here is my build:
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming
Processor: AMD FX-8370 (4.0 GHz)
VGA: Gigabyte RX 470 4GB
Memory: 2x8GB HyperX 1600MHz
SSD: Kingston SSD 240GB
Processor cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212
My question is that whether this build will be good for a few years or not. I have read several times that the AM3+ is "dead" since there won't be any new processor coming out for it, so should I switch to Intel or another AMD? I know the Zen is coming out this year, but I do not have the money for it. So what is your opinion?
