Resolution Issues I think :c

First post here no hurt plz. But at the moment im running a i5 6500k @4 ghz and a G1 GTX 1070 and ddr4 ram(cant remember name). But I want to if 1440x900 would cause any utilzations problems, and if so, would i be getting lower frames then i should get. Would a 1080p 144hz monitor fix any of the issues im having.

A 1070 shouldn't even break a sweat running @ 1440x900 which might be the problem. Try setting everything in the game video settings on highest and see if things get better.
