DVI-D dual link and VGA

My gpu r7250x broke and sent it to service but takes like 2-3 weeks before it comes back so i need to use the integrated one til then

i have an integrated intel hd 4000 with dvi-d dual link exit and a monitor lg w2241s with vga exit. Is possible somehow to connect them? I noticed the cable which i used on my gpu-monitor didnt worked because it had 4 extra pins.

Those four extra pins carry the analog RGB signal in DVD-I. Since you have DVD-D, it doesn't have those four pins, and the simple adapter Lutfij linked to won't work. You need an active DVD-D to VGA adapter. Something like this:
