Hi to all of you

I just wanna ask what Graphic card do you recommend for my old PC setup. My old one (MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III) work no more corectly after 5 Years.

This is my PC now.

Motherboard : ASUS P8P67 EVO (rev 3.0)
Cpu : Intel Core i5 2500 K
Power Supply : Seasonic M12II-620
Ram : Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Blue Vengeance
HDD : WD Black 1TB 64MB cache

Price for new Card : 150€ / 162 $ max.

Application : I just wanna play some older games on High Resolution (Arma 2, WoT, Red Orchestra 2)and maybe some of them from year 2014/2015. I now i can't play with this PC new games (2016) on High resolution and i dont want it. I gonna build new PC later and for now i still stay with this buddy.

I read that this i5 2500 K is not so bad so if i put one more RAM and for sample this Card MSI GTX 1050 2G OC its that ok or not ? I know my motherboard got PCI 2.0 and the Card got 3.0 but how i read on this Forum they should be compatible. And the Power Supply should be enough. Of course size of the Card matters too but the old 570 was pretty big 243*115*42mm and the 1050 is smaller so it should fit in my Case

Or what else can you recommend for me ?

I thank you for every reaction and I am sorry for my English :) ( but if i dont play Video Games it will be much worse :) )

Thanks for your reaction. I now that the newer ones are DDR4 but before i build new PC it take some time (maybe even one year because now i dont have so much time) and for now i think that 30 € for one more Ram its not so bad.

I was thinking over the overclock earlier but i never do it before but I go read something to know how it works.
If i gonna overclock my CPU i need buy new cooling, cann you something recommend for my ? I dont now how to pick the right size of the Fan. Or what should i watch to now, how to pick up the right one. I am sure the Fan i get with the procesor it's not enough after overclock.

Motherboard : ASUS P8P67 EVO (rev 3.0)
Power Supply : Seasonic M12II-620
HDD : WD Black 1TB 64MB cache
DVD-ROM : ASUS DRW-24B3LT/BLK/G/AS
CPU : Intel Core i5-2500K
Display : 22" Philips 224E2SB
RAM : Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Blue Vengeance
CASE : Thermaltake V4 Black Edition
FAN 1: PrimeCooler PC-12025L12C
FAN 2 : SilverStone SST-FN121-BL blue LED
GPU : how i write before i thinking about MSI GTX 1050 2G OC or MSI GTX 1050 Tí GAMING X 4G

I couldn't find any specs on max height cpu cooler for your case, however I found this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/269476-29-cooler-thermaltake-black-edition
This means a cooler master hyper 212 evo would most likely fit in your case.

Just to be on the safe side, i'd go with the cryorig h7, as it is a few millimeters shorter and appears to cool better:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/269476-29-cooler-thermaltake-black-edition

At 5ghz the cooler master 212 evo keeps my temps right around 80c under full load, so while gaming it never gets that hot.

I read some more on other forum and the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ EVO should fit in with no problem. In store where i want to buy the components cost the Cooler 38,90 € / 41,78 $ and they got not the cryorig h7.

I read the other threads on this forum about OC for my CPU. And this is now one of my plan.

I buy a new Card this MSI GTX 1050 2G OC or GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Tí OC 4G or other version from the 1050 or 1050 Ti.
I buy one more RAM.
I buy the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ EVO.
I gonna Overclock my CPU on 4 - 4,5 ghz.

What mean i pay 239,70 € / 257,46 $ for this little upgrade and i cann play really smooth the older games and even some of the newer one. (I really want to run the Arma3). With the 1050 Ti OC 4G i should have no bottleneck and power supply is enough too.

So what do you think about my plan ?

thank you I really appreciate your help

I think you should purchase the gtx 1060 and overclock your rig to 4.5ghz. Especially if you plan to run Arma 3. Most users that have 2500k can reach 4.5 ghz no problem, but I wouldn't go anything lower than a gtx 1060 3gb model for Arma 3. If you can spend more, i'd go with the 6gb vram model so you'll be able to game on that machine for another 2 to 3 years.

That's the reason to buy 1050 Ti 4G because i read and look videos how people play Arma 3 on that card on High what is not so bad because especially Arma is not so good optimized so even the better cards cann do it so much better.

But how you say if i pay some more for the card i cann have this setup another 2 years.
I look on the bottlenecker(dot)com and its showing me with the GTX 1060 14 % bottleneck on i5-2500K goona it be better after overclock or not ?

My cpu doesn't bottleneck using a gtx 1070 and i'm playing games like doom and gta v with a stable 100 fps on the highest settings. I honestly think you should go a step above from what your cpu can handle (And your stock 2500k can definitely handle a gtx 1060 6gb no problem) for a couple reasons:
1. Your going to get way better performance on the GTX 1060 card and even if there is a bottleneck, your not going to notice.
2. When you need to upgrade the cpu, motherboard and memory, you can reuse your gtx 1060. This will allow you to spend a higher budget on those parts.

So you think that a GTX 1060 6G is a good step for my upgrade even without the OC of my CPU and even if i have still DDR3 RAM.

Correct, but only if you plan to keep your existing build for the next 2-3 years. I would upgrade your graphics card and run it for a few months before you start to try and overclock.

If i buy now GTX 1060 6 G and i will be able to play new games on high i will be really happy and i cann keep this build for next 2 Years without other upgrade so i cann spend money on other things (motobike) i will be even more happy.

One more question, i got this CPU almost for 5 Years maybe even more. Do you think that it cann still do a solid (4,5 ghz) OC later, or older CPU have smaller chance to do it. I dont now if more years have effect on function of the procesor or even the OC.

I read some other threads too and people say that i5-2500 K with the 1060 6G its no problem at all even without the OC.
I have no idea how good the CPU is until now. I was looking if the MSI GTX 1060 6G will fit into my case and it should be fine its a bit longer then my old 570. If i have no need to OC the CPU i dont buy the Cooler (for now). And i cann spend money on that Card + one more RAM.

So maybe tommorow in Store or later in online store i gonna buy the GTX 1060 G.
So thats the good plan ?

I want to thank you for your time and answers it was really helpfull. If i meet you in real life i will buy you couple of beers.

how i write at the beginning
Motherboard : ASUS P8P67 EVO (rev 3.0)
Power Supply : Seasonic M12II-620
HDD : WD Black 1TB 64MB cache
DVD-ROM : ASUS DRW-24B3LT/BLK/G/AS
CPU : Intel Core i5-2500K
Display : 22" Philips 224E2SB
RAM : Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Blue Vengeance
CASE : Thermaltake V4 Black Edition
FAN 1: PrimeCooler PC-12025L12C
FAN 2 : SilverStone SST-FN121-BL blue LED

I am looking for GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 WindForce OC 6G, 6GB GDDR5 or MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G GIGABYTE and MSI both of them have good cooler the third option its ASUS STRIX GAMING GTX1060 O6GB but i think its a little bit long for my case. But what i read today and before too people like the MSI version for that cooler because its really quiet and that same cooler i got on my old card just a older generation (twin frozr). All 3 Cards are pretty the same at least i think that or its that not true ?

The new case's have all specification on their websites i speaking about thermaltake serie but my case have no limitations wroten in specifications so i did do the measuring and i have enough place.
For sample my old card got 267*110*39 mm and the MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G have 277 x 140 x 39 mm so thats mean its 10 mm longer (no problem at all but the ASUS version got 300 mm and thats to much) and about 30 mm more widht and i got there next 50 mm space so after putting in the msi version i still got there some space reserve (20 mm).

The Store open at 10:00 so i go there today and buy the MSI GTX 1060 6G after i look on internet the card si 3 times more powerfull then the first i want to buy and cost maybe about 200 € more what is not so bad for that performance and how you wrote i cann hold the steps with the games next 2 maybe 3 years.

My card got Supplementary Power Connectors 2 * 6 Pin and the msi got 1x 8 PIN and how i read that cann be a problem when i using the adapter.

And new power supply its again new investition. But blow away new card with some adapter that is not what i looking for.

update : i buy today MSI GTX 1060 6 G GAMING X card and new power supply BE QUIET POWER ZONE 750 W. After i came home i put the card into my case and it fit in easily, the Card is really masiv and i got the same feelings like 5 years ago when i unbox my gtx570. After i look on my old PSU 620 bronze seasonic i see that he got 6+2 pin too and i realized i buy extra PSU for almost for nothing but i look on it like investition for the future so i don't go bring him back to the store and the old one i cann give somebody or sell. And i keep upgrading next components later (motherboard with ddr4, case) 16 GB RAM and one ssd disk and that its not so expensive so maybe every month i buy new component and still cann concetrate on my car maybe even bike.

I want to thank you for your time, support and answers.
