I have just decided to buy ASUS VG278HV monitor for the smooth 144hz gaming on my gtx1070 rig, while i have seen through the reviews that people often get backlight bleeding with this monitor. I cant switch to other monitors because all other monitors in the specs of this one cost around $500 while this one still cost $320 (my country's amazon pricing is messed up)
So i wanted to know if backlight bleeding is really a serious issue and can harm the monitor?

Solution
depends on how you feel about it and I'd say it would not be desirable

thing is if you seen this - '' while i have seen through the reviews that people often get backlight bleeding with this monitor. '' and then you bought it , well ?????

maybe that's why its a cheaper model you could better afford over quality

should be plenty of articles on it around to review

like here maybe a issue with some asus monitors ?

something like a monitor I never buy ''blindly'' mail order I go in to a store and look at them on a working display...

something like a monitor I never buy ''blindly'' mail order I go in to a store and look at them on a working display and buy local so if its not right I don't need to do that RMA pay shipping and all that $$$

just walk it back in to them plug it in and say look at this crap and walk out with another same day
