I have not used this monitor for my PC in a while, as i was using it for my Xbox. Today i decided to hook it back up to my PC but all i get is no DVI signal, HDMI port works fine.

I tried a different monitor to ensure the DVI cable was not broken, and the second monitor works fine, so i assume its not my graphics card either.

Windows also plays the notification sound when i plug the cord into my monitor but my monitor is not displayed under the display settings on windows.

Any help would be appreciated, i just hope my monitors DVI port is not broken.

Solution
Seems to be corrupted display info.

1) Download CRU and run the RESET-ALL.exe file, which is part of the package. Do not restart yet.

The reset-all.exe will automatically take effect during the reboot.

2) Download DDU, but don't install it just yet.

3) Download the current Nvidia drivers.

4) Uninstall your current Nvidia drivers.

5) Reboot to SAFE MODE.

6) Run DDU through safe mode/install the package and let it clean the drivers.

7) Reboot back to windows, and install the drivers.
