Just overclocked my SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 480 4G OC (11260-02) which is on the latest AMD firmware (Crimson ReLive 17.1.2) to a 1450mhz core clock and a 2030mhz memory clock. In MSI Afterburner I found that you can change the voltage to go higher than in AMD Wattman as the highest you could go in Wattman was 1175mv. In Afterburner I changed the Core Voltage to max (+100) with the power limit as max also (+50). My temperatures stay below 80 degrees Celsius and I get no issues like artifacting.

Is it safe to have the voltage control and power limit set on max ? Will there be any side affects ?

My GPU draws 288.5w under load and a VDDC of 1.2750 ? Is this dangerous as well ?

Should I push my card further ?

I do not recommend you pomp up the voltage of anything without it being needed.

Well I only raised the voltage to achieve a higher clock which I did. Is it dangerous to raise it that high ?
