how to stop W10 pro to downgrade my gpu driver?

over the last few days w10 suddenly decide to downgrade my gpu driver with an ancient version from summer 2016. I have try 3 times to remove it(with DDU ect.) an instal a new one with success, but the very next day windows bringe back the same ancient driver.

so far I have try to stop this by Enable "Do not include Drivers with windows update" via group policy with no success.

Have you tried hiding that particular Windows update?

I revert back to the new driver via device manager(Roll Back Driver) it only took 2 sec and without restart, interesting to say the least.

But I don't think this is a permanent solution, who knows tomorrow windows may decide to instal a 2 year old driver.
