Thats what im trying to narrow down, the boys like cod, battlefield, type games, I like more simulation type games but might venture into some more main stream games.

Either of those would be good for that system but I'm not sure which out of them would be a better choice. I do own the ASUS VG248QE (1080P/144hz) and it is a really good gaming monitor however for some single player games/MMO's I kind of wished I went for the 1440P/60/IPS as the colors aren't the best but running 144hz for FPS and racing games is great.
