Brother Laser Printer leaves faint ink residue on page, help please.

When I print a picture with a wide white border I'm getting a faint magenta ink residue on the right side of the page. This is a brother laser 4040CDN. I'm trying to print a photo book and this is really messing up my project. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
