folks think this tech is so great when all its doing is putting big brother in bed with them

the is police car # 54 we got a chevy with onstar we need stopped -dispatch-- ok hold on we got onstar to roll up windows lock doors disable motor

car 54 -- suspect rolls to shoulder have onstar unlock door so we can drag him out and put the cuffs on -- 10-4 we used his chevys GPS and will send backup to you [true story and how it happened ] when I was helping a wrecker service

pretty sad a 3ed party somewhere in the world got as much control of your car as you do driving it

its just that easy

thing is you knowingly allow this and welcome it with open arms in to your full life and maybe have that tv in the bedroom to make a sex tape as well ..lol...

Even with Smart Interactivity set to "Off" a packet sniffer will show you 50-60 packets per minute being exchanged with third-part companies to over 2 dozen IP's.
Since some of these displays do not host Apps, but include a built in ChromeCast, so just what are they collecting.
Vizio was fined only for not informing their customers, they were not penalized or prevented from collecting and selling the data to third-parties.
