Hey guys,

Just got myself a new PC build, and completed it, went through, but now I'm stuck, the computer is now getting stuck at the debug code of 62.

My setup is:

MSI gaming M5 z170a motherboard
Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti 2GB
Corsair CX750 powersupply
i5-7500 CPU
x2 Corsair Vengance 2400MHz 4GB ram sticks

I have put everything in correctly, unplugged everything, checked the CPU for bent pins, all good.

Ran the computer on just PSU, memory (1 stick), and mobo - still 62.
Tried running the computer off internal graphics - still 62.
Tried removing all ram sticks - get an E3 error message (no speakers connected, so I cant really say that sound came out)
Removed CMOS - and reset it - still 62
Ran the PC with CMOS out of it, with bare necesities (PSU, mobo, RAM) still debug 62.

I am legit running out of ideas, I dont have another GPU to test for bios upgrade, and im unsure if my chipset requires an update with my board.

If I just ran it off integrated graphics it should boot up though? Im unsure.

Please let me know what you think, and give me some ideas.

Thanks guys!

Kaby lake + Z170 is why you can't even boot.
You have two solutions :
-Get an old skylake pentium, boot, update your BIOS then shut down and put back your new processor,
-Get a Z270 motherboard (best solution)
The performance of a kaby lake processor on a Z170 motherboard is just BAD. Get a Z270 motherboard.
