Dual monitor flickering trouble

Hello!

Lately, I've upgraded my GPU and had to buy an adapter (VGA to HDMI) to be able to dual monitor since it has DVI, HDMI, Displayport and my main monitor uses the DVI one. The thing is that my second monitor on the HDMI port is constantly flickering (I remember this happening a long time ago when I had both monitors on my old GPU both with VGA and had to buy a DVI adapter which fixed the problem).

So, I've tried swapping cables and putting my second monitor on DVI but that makes my main monitor go full black screen, so I don't really know what I should.

I've tried upgrading graphics, changing resolution/refresh rate and some other stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Okay, a little heads up. I swapped once more and it did work out this time. Main monitor is on HDMI and secondary on DVI. For any reason the native res of the secondary one is 1024x768 when it's actually 1600x900 but if I put it in the latter it will flick. I can put it in 1024x768 and will work properly.

I guess this was solved on it's own when upgrading, I'll update soon.
