Going from windows 10 Education to home is a downgrade so why would you want to do that

Education has more features but excludes Cortana search engine

You need WHAT mostly for gaming? There is no difference between Windows 10 Home and Education for gaming, there are just a few feature differences. Do you have Windows 10 installed now?

Then you are good to go. You could buy a license for Windows 10 Home, but since you already have Windows 10 installed, you are all set.
