windows 10, RAM upgrade, error code:0xc0000098

I have added 4GB RAM into my DELL VOSTRO 14 notebook and tried to on the notebook but it failed to on and had error code: 0xc0000098.

How much ram does it support, and how much is installed

look up your laptop memroy max info.
with most laptop iof yours has 8g max memory and two ram slots you have to use two 4g dimms of the same speed and type. some of those 14 dell had 4g max memory.

Maybe it's your answer, maybe not. Try setting manually the amount:

I run 16GB on a machine with an official manufacturer max amount of 8GB.
