Alternative methods of storing hard drives.

Im receiving 2 3.5" hard drives tomorrow. since im not at home i only have 1 pair of rails which attach to the sides of the hard drive and slide into the tray. Are there any creative, alternative methods of keeping hard drives inside the chassis; does it make a difference if i keep it inside the case somewhere on the bottom where there's space?

Spinning hard drives really need to be bolted into the proper place in the case.

Having said that, I used a series of zipties to hold a 2.5" drive in a secondary PC for a couple of years. No issues.

Perfect. Just what I was looking for, and it works!
