Hello, I bought a BENQ EZOWIE XL2411Z 1080p 144hz monitor. I play all my games at 144hz with v-sync off. Every game runs flawlessly except GTA V. I get screen tearing in this game. I'am maintaining 120-130 fps with nvidia optimal settings, still i get screen tearing. I ALSO RECORD GAMEPLAY USING NVIDIA SHARE FOR YOUTUBE. My specs are as follows:-
1. INTEL I7 4790K @ 4.0GHZ PROCESSOR
2. ASROCK Z97 EXTREME 3 MOTHERBOARD
3. ZOTAC GTX 1070 FOUNDER'S EDITION SLI
4. CORSAIR VENGEANCE 32GB 1600MHZ RAM
5. CORSAIR RM750X PSU
6. BENQ EZOWIE XL2411Z 1080p MONITOR

PLEASE HELP!!!

Solution
It happens. Being close to your refresh rate but still a little under it is going to cause screen tearing.

If you're hanging right around 120 FPS I would change your refresh rate to 120hz (if your monitor permits it) when you play GTAV and see how much it helps. You may need to try with Vsync on and off to see if there's any improvement.
