HDMI to DVI Converter

Solution
If that HDTV doesn't have HDMI, then sure try the second DVI converter. The audio would connect next to the DVI-D input so the cable you would require for that would be a:

"3.5mm MALE to RED + WHITE RCA output"
https://www.amazon.ca/Startech-Com-MU6mmRCA-6-Feet-Stereo-Audio/dp/B00009B59S/ref=sr_1_15?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1487069259&sr=1-15&keywords=3.5mm+to+rca

SO:
You'd need an:
a) HDMI cable
b) DVI cable
c) 3.5mm-> RCA cable
d) HDMI to DVI + analog 3.5mm converter

Other:
You likely only get 30FPS at 1080 resolution since it's a 1080i HDTV apparently.

You will need to use the converter in the second link you provided, to get audio also
to get audio use a rca to rca cable and plug it behind the red and white ports next to the dvi port on the tv and to the converter
link for rca to rca cable

If you have got your answer please mark this solved for other peoples reference, thanks

You should just use one of the HDMI inputs.

I doubt that HDMI to DVI solution will work well.

If you only have two and both are full, then buy an HDMI switch. You can get a cheap manual one from Monoprice or a more expensive model if you need more than two devices on one HDMI input.

Or is this some really old HDTV that doesn't even have HDMI inputs?
