Hello,

I have searched high and low for a solution to this problem, and I'm just really desperate as of now. I've asked on Reddit as well, but nobody seems to know the solution to my issue.

So basically, I get a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe whenever I run an Android emulator (e.g. Bluestacks, Nox App Player) with VT-x (Intel Virtualization Technology) enabled on my BIOS. Unfortunately, I need it to be enabled for performance optimization of these emulators (it's also an official recommendation by Nox). Otherwise, the emulators work fine, albeit slow for what I need to do.

I have already tried the following, as per the tons of information I've Google'd:
1. Disable Hyper-V and Hyper-V Role.
2. Run memtest to check if my RAM is fine -- both my sticks appeared fine after running memtest for 3-4 hours (0 ERRORS).
3. Updated my BIOS to the latest version.
4. I tried disabling my antivirus, even if my antivirus isn't Avast (I use Windows Defender).

I'm running out of options, other than reinstalling my Windows 10, which isn't really an option because this is just a free upgrade from my 8.1. Plus I don't want to go through that hassle. If that's my only option remaining then I'll bear with the slow performance.

Below are my PC specs:

Intel i7-4790K
Noctua NH-D14
Asus Z97-PRO LGA 1150
16GB (2 x 8GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 1600MHz (PC3 12800)
Intel 530 Series SSD (120GB) -- OS drive
Nvidia GTX 970
2x WD 1TB Blue (7200RPM)
Windows 10 Pro x64

Here's a recent BSOD dump: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tg6nk89qbhykrxb/021517-7437-01.dmp?dl=0

Thank you!

Appreciate your response. Here is the WhoCrashed report for the dmp on my original post.

On Wed 2/15/2017 7:51:44 PM your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\021517-7437-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14A6F0)
Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC0000096, 0xFFFFBD81E4274850, 0xFFFFBD81DD840CA0, 0x0)
Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

New Technology Operating System Kernel (ntoskrnl) is brains of windows 10, it is often blamed for errors caused by drivers, so I sort of knew who crashed report on it wouldn't help, but driver verifer might reveal the true culprit

Someone who reads the dumps may drop in and answer faster than I can too. Driver verifer just gives us a way to tease out drivers that are misbehaving while we wait :)

Uninstall AIcharger. This is a known cause of crashes

Update this asmtufdriver.sys. ASMedia USB 3.0 controller drivers. It's 5 yrs old

Uninstall AI suite. Find then delete asio.sys. Your Logitech cam drivers are 5 yrs old

Update or uninstall speedfan. Its drivers are 5 yrs old

Update teamviewer. This file teamviewervpn.sys is 10 yrs old

I would uninstall truecrypt, it's dead

Hello, thanks for your suggestions.

Unfortunately, I've done everything above except uninstalling TrueCrypt since I need it. Nothing worked.

I tried to use Driver Verifier but I can't even get into Windows with it enabled.

Any Android emulator though gives me BSOD, as long as I have Intel Virtualization Technology enabled.

When I tried it on Safe Mode a while ago, it didn't seem like it'd give me BSOD. I didn't let it finish loading though, but usually it already BSODs at below 10% loading...
