Hi there, I have been owing a crappy laptop for 6 years and I think it's time to get a new computer. I have been researching a little bit and I think this is OK for 500 bucks:
-Intel i3 7100
-1TB disk
-EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SC Gaming 2GB GDDR5
-EVGA W1 500W 80 Plus
-Tacens Mars Gaming MC2 V2 USB 3.0
-Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H
-Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 PC4-17000 8GB CL14

The main purpose is no lag while editing video in Sony Vegas (I edit MLG so it has a lot of layers and the renderization is really slow, like 1h/minute with 10 layers) and occasional gaming. What do you think about this build? Anything cheaper?

Hi, I found that if I'm not wrong, i'll need a sound card xD
I have added to your build a keyboard and changed the RAM, resulting into this, how do you see?

I dont the know why you'd bother with the sound card or the has CPU cooler. That cooler isn't much if any better than the stock one. The dual channel ram kit is definitely worth the premium in an editing setting.

So are you saying that the case has its own sound card and cooler? Didn't know that, sorry.
