they have calibration programs /tools but seems like it should of been darn close to looking correctly out of the box to start with [opinion]

so far all the hdtv's and monitors I bought and used looked great with out any need to do adjustments to them out of the box then if any, slight not seemingly screw around with it for hrs . and still not satisfied .

just google something like '' HDTV or monitor screen calibration software '' and see whats there that may help

I used http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/d-series-1080p-2016/settings?uxtv=abea and my own eye-balls, some test runs through games along with Windows' integrated color calibration(Press Win 10 icon/ type color/select Color Calibration) to set up my monitor. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/philips_bdm4065uc.htm#comparison might help.

I would use a lower color temperature and then adjust other settings if necessary.
