Was there ever an LGA775 motherboard that supported VT-d?

I know, it's sad, I'm asking about 10 year old hardware, but I live on a fixed income, and really can't afford new Hardware.

I picketed up a Q9550, on the cheap, and was surprised it supports VT-d. I'd like to find an old motherboard that has support for it(IOMMU) in the bios. I've looked around, and sites say that the X38, and X48 chipset supports IOMMU, but I can't find any motherboards, based on those chipsets, that support it.

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?

Anyone know of an X38/X48 motherboard that has Bios support for VT-d?

Thanks,
JD

The following Intel Desktop Boards support Intel VT:

has it on this 775 chip

Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d) ‡ Yes

so you must assume motherboards should have the setting in it bios and some do not

just download what ever board your interested in manual and look what its bios has for that

Intel (R) Virtualization tech. When this option is set to [Enabled], a VMM (Virtual Machine Architecture) can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by Vanderpool Technology. This option will be hidden if the installed CPU does not support Intel (R) Virtualization Technology

Thanks Junkey, looks like I would be limited to the Q45 and Q35 based motherboards, not really what I was looking for, micro-ATX with only 1x16x PCIE slot. Not really good for PCI passthrough.

I'm better off saving my money and buying a newer CPU/Motherboard and Ram.
