Hello all,
This may be a silly question but I couldn't find anything on the public domain or on Asus's systems that answers this question.
In Fan Xpert, when one clicks on the settings (gear icon) on the bottom right, it displays a bunch of sliders to set the 'thresholds'. This applies to Temp and fan RPM.
Are these to trigger alarms or to trigger fan speeding up or what?
Also, all Fan RPM threshold are set to '200' but no alarm goes off when I click on 'Silent' mode that turns all fans off. If this is intentional by design, how can I test that the thresholds actually do something?
I'm referring to the 'threshold' sliders at the bottom 1/4 of the pictures above.
