what has happened?

I have a Seagate 3TB external HDD. It worked perfectly on my simple TV when plugged into blu-ray player. My son then used the HDD on his LG Smart TV. Now the HDD will not work on my TV or blu-ray player, but works fine on my PC. Please help!
