do all display ports work with 144hz?

I have 3 asus predators that are all able to pump out 185 fps with my gtx 1080 HOF. i need to know if all display ports work with at least 144hz.

Anyone out there know and have some experience? The display port i used with my initial asus predator costs quite alot for a cable and im wondering if all display ports will do the trick.

It depends on what DP version your GPU/output is, and what resolution you want to use:
