i am using windows 10 in my desktop pc. i have a Tp-link 150Mbps Wireless N Nano USB Adapter tl-wn725n v2 (here's the product and it's driver/utility program i use-  http://www.tp-link.in/download/TL-WN725N.html#Driver ) . i use that tp-link utility program to make my pc a wifi hotspot. But since the latest Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607 was installed to my pc( without my permission) the tp-link utility program and driver not working anymore . whenever i try to open the program it gets minimized to system tray and then disappear without even opening the program's UI. I have installed /uninstalled the utility program and driver several times(restarting my pc each time between installing and uninstalling ) but still the issue is happening . i tried a third party software too named OSToto Hotspot which having exact same issue. Now making my pc as wifi hotspot was too important to me and without it i am having a very difficult time. Please give me an actual solution as soon as possible

Windows 10 1607 was the October 2016 update. So I'm surprised TP-Link hasn't updated the program to be compatible. Have you checked their website to see if there's an updated version of the utility?

Windows is actually capable of doing what you want natively. Unfortunately they removed the GUI portion of it with Windows 8. But you can still set it up via the command line.

If that doesn't work, you can roll back to the previous version of Win 10. Unfortuantely, Microsoft shorted the roll-back period from 30 days to 10 days. So if you've been working on this problem for a couple weeks, you may be beyond the roll-back period. You'd have to restore from an...

You'd have to restore from an earlier backup or install a fresh copy of Windows 10 (assuming you have install media created before October 2016).

Windows 10 1607 was installed on my pc last week .

Actually Windows 10 1607 was the July 2016 update. Most of the planet got it in July, but a few computers did not get it until August.

That is how Microsoft names their versions of Windows 10. The first two numbers, 16, mean the year, the next two numbers, 07, mean the month. Hence version 1607 means July 2016. The next version is 1704, which should be hitting the streets in about 6 weeks.
