Hello there,
I am in a pickle which card between this 2 to get.
Asus strix costs 355€ while Sappire costs 323€. Problems are thermals. In my googling and research I found out that Sapphire has some problem about cooling curve, it is set to 65' C instead of 75' C and that is noisy under load. But it has better overclocking potential than strix. I am not 100% sure that this is true. Strix has a bit better cooling solution but it differs from card to card. Strix also has sligtly better PCB than Sapphire. But Sappire has dual bios thingy. Strix can control 2 coolers also. I just need a reliable sorce of someone who has(had) these cards and give their experience about thermals and OC potential or has seen some review on them that compeled them to chose from one of these. I lean toward buying Strix just because it has 3 coolers tho I heard in one review that it also can get pretty noicy, strix is a bit better build quality but I am afraid it doesn't have overclocking potential. I don't care too much about noise because I wear headphones while I am playing games.
