My pc is on a reboot loop and I figured I may need to reinstall Windows 10, but I lost the disk drive and the activation key (I'm an idiot). I've read online that with a new motherboard, it saves the product key onto the bios. I was going to download a bootable drive but is this true? Do I need a new product key?

My PC:
i7 6700K 4.00ghz
Gigabyte Z170X - Gaming 7
G.skill Ripjaws V 16GB 3000mhz (tried to take out one ram but it was still looping)
MSI Seahawk NVIDIA GTX 1070
Corsair 750W P2 PSU
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB (Windows Installed)
Western Digital Black 1TB

PC built on May 17, 2016

Reinstalling on the same system, you do not need a new license key.

During the install, when it asks for the license key...at the bottom of that window there is a link for "I don't have a product key"
Click that, and proceed.
When the system next goes online, it will activate itself.
