Hi,

Hope all is well. I have a question. I have been told by tech support that have called that want to charge me 150.00 Us dollars to open command prompt and type in netstat and see all the foreign addresses that are in there and they want to charge me to remove them. what I'm asking is how I would go about removing these foreign addresses on my own that could be spyware and other things like that, that have attached themselves to my netwrok. I have watched a you tube video that said to go to command prompt type in cd \ hit enter and get on the c:\ and type in pskill and then hit space and type in the pid number and that should delete the foreign address from my computer but when I did that it said that it was not recognized as an internal or extrenal command pskill so I'm not sure what to do. I hope there is a simple solution to this? I really do not want to pay tecnical support. any help would be great.

Thank you!

The column for "Foreign address" is not an outside entity trying to connect.
It is your system, talking to something else.

For instance...
The part that says "Agora" (foreign address)...

They called me. And this is a home personal custom built computer. They said that these foreign addresses were causing problems with my network and my computer and they wanted to fix them for me with special software that only they had. I didn't go for it I told them I would get back to them which I never will. but I would like to get rid of these foreign addresses if it's possible

I agree but let me ask you? What are the foreign addresses that are attached to my network? Is there a way I can send you a screen shot so you can see exactly what I'am talking about? Proto Local Address Foreign Address State

These are all Foreign addresses. and I would Like to get rid of them because I do not know what they are doing there. All you are telling me is that tech support that called me is a scam, but what about the foreign addresses I would Like those removed. The could be invasions to my computer and to my network?

I agree with you I have already done that. The reason they are a scam is because they are telling you that you can only get rid of the foreign addresses with there software wich is not true but, i'm asking you if you can tell me , or anyone else for that matter how to get rid of these foreign addresses on my own without tech support. what caqn I do on my own to get rid of them???

The problem is....there is no problem with your PC.
The "tech support" calls with with a terrifying situation.

You allow them to connect to your system, pay them to "remove" (stuff that does not exist)
Meanwhile, they are trolling through your system, gathering all your passwords, planting keyloggers and remote trojans, and disabling your current AV.
And you pay them for doing that.

I have not! I told you I did not give them remote acsess to my pc. I would just like to know how to get rid of them. The point here isn't to establish blame anyways. It's to help me get rid of the foreign addresses. I would Like to get rid of this once and for all.

Yes, Netstat.
Those are not "foreign addresses"
That is software on your system (192.168.1.2), connected to various ports, to perform whatever function they are supposed to do.

Your web browser, OS, all the other applications that live on your system.

Well how come up top it says Foreign address? Type in netstat on your pc and you will see what I mean. I'm just assuming that there would be no need for foreign Ip addresses on my pc. And I do not know what they are doing there.

but if they are Local addresses shouldn't they be listed as such and not listed as Foeign Addresses. I know the tech support is a scam. The adresses on my pc when I type in netstat are being listed as foreign addresses and are being sahown as established?

The part that says "Agora" (foreign address) here is simply my NAS box over on the other side of the room, which windows file explorer is reading.
