Some problem i cant figure

Hello, i have a problem with my machine, it runs windows xp, after i had mess with ultra virus killer to delete some stubborn virus, i can't stay longer than 2m in xp normal mode, but in safe mode i dont have this problem, i tried to install other os, format the drives with gparted and all , and it simple dont run at all any os, tried some linux distros also (livecds included) on linux it says something about kernel panic and something messy with cpu's i have p4 3.0 ht... this problems started after a trojan infection and removal, what seems been the cause of this ? how i proceed to install a new os?

Sounds pretty bad.
I would install a 1 . New hard drive. Maybe run one of those cables from the motherboard to the new HDD, so that you can keep old HDD, and this is one additional.

2. Then install the OS. xp or whatever on the new hard drive.

3. This new Hard drive with the fresh OS install will run perfect, and without any such problems at all.

4. On start up, you can select which of the installs , that you want to go into.
