Hi

I keep getting this error every time I try to log in to my laptop. Currently I'm running it in safe mode with networking. The issue started a day after I got a windows update and after chatting with 5 Microsoft customer service representatives they told me to give my laptop for repair to manufacturer.

I really want to solve this issue and I've tried almost everything like sfc /scannow, chkdsk /r /f, DISM, system restore point, refresh PC, factory reset, updating graphic drivers (which just sends me to that screen instantly), disabling all non-Microsoft services using msconfig and start up programs in task manager. Still can't fix the issue. I tried Media creation tool to get a windows 10 bootable usb and tried downloading iso file to burn on a cd but even that shows error code 0x8007043C - 0x90016(which I think is because I'm in safe mode but I don't have access to another computer to make a bootable usb).

dxgkrnl.sys = direct X. Generally DirectX errors are Graphics card related so I would check you have latest Intel or AMD drivers for laptop. Your laptop also has a AMD Radeon™ HD 7610M 1GB (2799MB Total: 1GB discrete memory + 1775MB shared memory)

Since it should use Intel GPU on desktop and Radeon in Graphics Intensive applications, I would guess the error you getting is from the Intel card. If I could read the dumps I would know for sure...

How to remove intel drivers

You can get to device manager in safe mode by right clicking start button and choosing it from list,
Expand the Display Adapters section.
Find the Intel Graphics Driver. The driver can also be called the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (Intel® GMA Driver).
Right click Intel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.
Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.
Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

this might help removing them: http://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html
Latest Driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25176/Intel-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit-N-Series-

I would wait till someone reads dumps but that might help you later on :)

Thanks for replying I tried removing the driver and deleting it but the error still remains. I tried rolling back to Microsoft basic display adapter but that didn't fix it either.
