Business Laptop: HP Elite Book and Dell Latitude

I am choosing between a HP Elite Book and Dell Latitude laptop for a 2011/2012 refurbished laptop.

■In term of durability and reliability, which brand would be safer?
■Comparing Elite Book and Latitude design, which one is more likely to be designed for easier RAM/SSD upgrade?
■Are replacement parts generally cheaper or more widely available for HP Elite Book or Dell Latitude?

You should also look at Lenovo T models, I think they are better built than either of the models you are looking at. I have worked with all of them, and the Lenovo is my favorite. A T430s or 420s is good, the 420s is a bit older but has a better keyboard I think. The went to using a chicklet keyboard with the 430 and later models, removing what I though was a huge win for Lenovo with their keyboard design.

I think if I had to pick a single design of a laptop to base my ideal laptop on, it would be the T420s.
