Ive got a Sharp 43" 4k tv

GTX 1070 FTW edition
i5 6600K
16gb ram

The only setting that will run at 60hz is 3840x2160.. The desktop looks clean and crisp but I do notice my mouse seems a little laggy, and when I set Battlefield 1 to the same display settings, the game looks good but my mouse is super laggy. Steam Chat is also fuzzy, but searching on the internet is clear....

Any idea what Im doing wrong?

HDMI 2.0 is enough for 4k at 60hz, there is no HDMI 2.2 yet. It must be the increased pixel count that is causing input lag. Some TV's tend to have high input lag especially in 4k. I would try playing with the settings and find some mode or setting that reduces input lag.

Sounds like a bad case of severe input lag. Try looking for a game mode on your TV and turn it on. It looks like the amazon reviews for that tv are also saying it has a lot of input lag when used for pc gaming(assuming a Sharp LC-43UB30U 2015 model)

I have the game mode set. Ive had it for 5-6 months and playing on 1080 is perfect.. but 4k.. not so much

this is the model i have.
