Account email address change

My email address associated with my account is no longer valid. going to settings and clicking the "Edit" button does not function. To unsubscribe and start over and email conformation is sent to the existing email which is no longer valid. My account is "amclaren4" amclaren4@xxxx.xxx is the email associated with the account which is no longer valid. Can you help?
I tried to add an account and a form page opened I filled it in with a new email address and the responce was this account already exists... perhaps I should create a completely different account....?

Thank you for the link.... Yes it worked..... I am thankful for this work around, but did not like going through it.
