Two external monitors one laptop

Hey All,

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire VX15 laptop (https://www.cnet.com/products/acer-aspire-vx-15/specs/) and would like to connect two external monitors displaying independent content. The laptop only has one HDMI port and several USB ports (USB 2.0, USB-C Gen1, & USB 3.0). Is this possible and if so, what sub $250 monitors might you recommend?

P.S. I'm fine with not using the laptop display if that's necessary.

you cannot split a HDMI signal to have 2 independent signals.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is it possible to run one monitor through one of the USB ports? If so, are there any disadvantages to that in terms of quality, etc..?

I guess there might be some dongle that does usb to vga out there, but cannot me phantom any real quality output will be found with those, but feel free to search fro them

Hold on, so yes, you CAN plug in a monitor to the acer aspire no problem, right?
