What format do I format USB drive?

Hey there

I have a drive that contains WEindows 10 installer and I want to format that drive to get rid of it. How do I format that drive? What format? Thank you.

Just right-click on the drive and choose "Quick Format". It will format it for you to NTFS, which is fine.

When I right click on it, it says FAT32 (Default), and I have to change it to NTFS. Are we sure- it is not Fat32 for USB?

Choice of file system depends on:
where are you going to use this USB flash drive?
- if only on windows PC, then choose NTFS;
- if on windows PC, linux PC, TV, media player or whatever, then choose FAT32 (but you'll get limitation of file size to less than 4GB).
