So i just recently installed my new Gtx 1050 ti gigabyte GV-N105TOC-4GD and attached the dvi ( 24 + 1 ) to vga connector. When ever I turn my pc on the monitor does not shows the display.
I took out my graphic card and connected the monitor cable to motherboard display slot and everything was working fine.

My pc specs are :

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
Motherboard
Intel Corporation DB85FL
Graphics
HP LV2011 Monitor (1600x900@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Intel)

I would be very happy if you solve my problem guys. As this the first time i am installing my new gpu.

Solution
Nothing to do with your board.
The 1050ti does not supply an analog signal.
You need an active HDMI /dvi/dp to VGA active 'converter' (not an adapter)

What country are you in & I'll try to pick something out for you ??
As Patrick has stated - a standard dvi to VGA adapter (the kind you used to get with gpu's free in the past) will not work.

These kind are no use at all

So what should i do now? Buy a hdmi to vga converter?
I think my motherboard is not allowing my graphic card to display.

+ I can operate my pc without any display, I mean with black screen I went to login menu and windows 10 started to install nvidia drivers. Its just the display is not working. As well as when i went to bios and changed my primary video adapter to pci and rebooted the system again, i saw the motherboard itself is changing my settings back to auto option.

First take out the 1050, then on the onboard go into the bios and find the IGP settings, look for the auto setting and change to enable to keep it active when a card is in, then another entry find which one to initialize first, IGP before PCI express.

Then install the 1050 and stay connected to the onboard. Then try intstalling the laptop driver from nvidia's website.
