Dear all,
I have finally found out the issue that was causing the black screen on my newly bought 1070 G1 - which requires a force reboot to return back to desktop.
On Gigabytes' Website:
Core Clock
Boost: 1822 MHz/ Base: 1620 MHz in OC Mode
Boost: 1784 MHz/ Base: 1594 MHz in Gaming Mode
The card has default core clock at 1594 MHz, the issue is that the card is unstable at this stock clock.
The only way to stop the crash is when I set it to "ECO" mode (basically -89 MHz from the default clock).
Is this card faulty since it is not stable at its' default clock?
