Yes and no. Everything they've added so far sounds good... but it doesn't fix the underlying issue I have with the game - it's basically single player still. Once they enable a true multiplayer experience where I can team up with some amigos, I might give it a look.

For the large number of us that *keep* banging on about multiplyer, you were clearly not following any of the news before release!

http://au.ign.com/videos/2014/06/11/no-mans-sky-the-story-gameplay-and-multiplayer-explained

With that said, the content *was* incredibly inadequate on release. With the last few updates it has become a LOT better - this update looks like it will fix the last few of my big gripes! Having different classes of ships and weapons is brilliant. I would like the planets to be a lot more diverse and rich, but hey...they're making giant steps forward! =D

@GASARAKI:

Tom's covers game software (projected requirements, and etc.) all the time. "Doesn't deserve..." Hey man, it's their site. They can cover a Hamburglar sim for all I care--if you're not interested don't read it.

I like Motherboards titles for this article. "'No Man's Sky' Just Announced Another Big Update, But Do We Care at This Point?"

Well I for one am glad it's single player. I play games to avoid human interaction. Open in Elite Dangerous for example, shows why. It is only for masochists and trolls.
