I am looking to purchase 4x 16GB 3200Mhz (for 64GB total) modules of G.Skill, Flare-X RAM. There is a G.Skill provided graphic that outlines this specification exists/will exist
https://www.gskill.com/en/press/view/g-skill-announces-flare-x-series-and-fortis-series-ddr4-memory-for-amd-ryzen

However on the G.Skill website, if I look at their Flare-X 4x 16GB modules, the max speed is only 2400Mhz... am I missing something here? The G.Skill provided the graphic announced that Flare-X 4x 16GB will be available at 3200Mhz.. yet on their website its only 2400Mhz max...what gives? ....Is it just not available yet?

I don't understand...Need help.. thanks

Not officially. However, I've already got my G.Skill F4-3600C16D-16GTZR running at 3200 14-14-14-14-34-2T with 1.351v on the ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero with the unofficial 0902 BIOS. I'm running the standard 100MHz BCLK/REFCLK and using the DDR4-3200 setting in the BIOS.

I bought the 3600 kit because there isn't anything from AMD limiting the RAM speed to 3200. I have no doubt that ASUS will be adding higher speed RAM settings to their BIOS sooner or later, and I wanted to be ready.

If I followed your strategy of installing higher speed ram than AM4 mobos can currently handle right now (anticipating future BIOS updates will unlock higher memory speeds), would purchasing F4-3600C17Q-64GTZ (3600Mhz 4x16GB) be a good move? Or would these 3600Mhz 4x16GB modules be much more speed than AM4 mobos could forseeably use even with future BIOS updates? Would it probably be all the same to install some 3200Mhz 4x16's?

With 4x16GB kits it would be very unlikely to get the full 3600 speed. Unless the 3600 kit was less expensive for some reason, I would suggest the 3200 kit for that.

It's only in the 2x8GB kits where there will be the real possibility of getting 3600 speeds and higher, I think.
