Samsung 4K TV KS8500 good solution as a monitor?

Read a lot of posts in here and it seems like the idea of using a 4k TV as monitor is all over the place (some swear by it whiles other hate it).

I was considering purchasing a Samsung KS8500 49" 4K TV and using it as my daily driver (currently own the Samsung CF791) and read good things about it at http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ks8500

Now I realize that you need a GPU with at least HDMI 2.0 and something that can drive all those billions of pixels (thankfully the GTX 1080 TI was just released).

My concern is mostly with scaling in windows as I am looking to accomplish 1:1 with crisp and clear text that is still legible.

I figured at 49 inches you should roughly get around 89-90 PPI which I am hoping will deliver good text.

In any case, has anyone actual first hand experience with such a large display as a monitor that delivers 1 to 1 and crisp clear text (I do not game very much so input lag is not as important as long as I can get uncompressed colors at 4:4:4 chroma)?

Any advise and experience would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks in advance for all the responses.
