Microphone not working In windows 10

So my microphone never works on windows 10, I know it's not the mic's fault since I tried using other microphones.

This started when I formated my computer and reinstalled windows (I had windows 7 before)

First I had no sound at all, then I installed the newest version of Realtek HD Audio Manager, then my sound started to finally work but my microphone still didnt work.

I noticed that if I plug my headset in my computer, I don't see it in "Playback" in "Sound", but I see "Microphone" in "Recording". (My headphone sound works tho) I tried doing several fixes like uninstalling sound drivers, reinstalling them, use other microphones, change windows sound settings etc. Should I change some settings in Realtek HD Audio Manager or what? I'm using a headset mic too.

I use a non-usb headset


Please help me because im lost

Kinda, my motherboard doesn't support well with sound and mic ports (green orangy color)

But it works with microphones using USB not the mic port. Maybe buy a mic port to USB adapter

Even using a powered by, usb, headset doesn't seem to get the mic working for me..
