I'm having trouble getting my TV to display in 60Hz

I have a Nvidia Geforce 1070, with 2 HDMI 2.0 ports connected to an Element 42" UHD Digital LED TV - E4SFC421, at 3840 x 2160. I have tried all the HDMI ports on the TV and have had no success breaking 30 Hz. I would appreciate some insight into why I'm locked at 30hz when the TV claims it displays at 60hz.

Well, I just assumed UHD tvs all had the capability to run 60hz @4k, is that not the case? Also, what can I do to check which kind of HDMI inputs this TV has? It isn't in the manual.

Nope not the case at all. Mine for example only does 30hz as it's a first generation 4k tv

Hmm, I just bought this TV a few days again, this is actually making me debate returning it.
How can I tell that I'm getting a TV with HDMI 2.0? After some quick research, it seems they are typically light on information.

Most will advertise the fact, although a lot only have 1 HDMI 2.0 port. Now HDR is the big thing too, so you have to decide if you want a TV with that option as well. It's going to cost though, not cheap to get into this game. l ol.
