Western Digital hard drives compatible with Vista?

Hi everyone, I'm using Vista home premium 32bit SP2 and also have 3 Western Digital my book hard drives. The ones I have are old versions but now there are new version drives so if I buy the new drives will they be compatible with Vista?

The older version drives which I have work fine with Vista. They are ones linked below.

yes, as long as you can physically plug the drive into the system, it should work. my current HDD claims compatibility with only 7 and up, but yet here i am on XP.

"may require formatting on other OS's" so yeah, you may have to format the drive on vista before it can be used.

BUT, being an external drive, it might use a generic driver(most likely) but it might not. you can return it if it doesn't work.
