Disk activity @ 100% for 5+ mins post-login

Hi ! My Windows boots up in 20 seconds but the HDD activity is at near 99% for at least 5+ mins post login (I check using Task Manager). I've tried different OS like 7 and 8.1, but the same thing happens. Other than that my PC is working perfect. I'd like to know if this is normal and can be avoided. Currently Running Windows 10 Pro. My OS HDD is a WD Purple 1TB.

Initially it takes time to respond, after 1-2 mins it starts becoming increasingly responsive.
